Ph.D. in CS
UC Berkeley
I'm currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Science at UC Berkeley, where I'm fortunate to be advised by Prof. Venkat Anantharam. Prior to this, I completed an M.Phil. at CUHK under the guidance of Prof. James Cheng and Prof. Suion Chan. I received my Bachelor's degree from Tsinghua University.
At UC Berkeley, my research focuses on various aspects of stochastic processes and their applications. I have worked on developing a density formula-based approach for non-reversible isomorphism theorems and explored upper bounds for the cover time of non-reversible Markov chains. I have also studied statistical estimation methods for edge-reinforced random walks and am currently investigating ways to estimate network parameters using random walk techniques. I hope these efforts contribute to a better understanding of stochastic processes and their applications in computer science.
